Honda announced the release of the 2017 Honda Montesa Cota 4RT260 just before the 2 Dies de Trail d’Encamp competition held in Andorra. The bike was launched in the European markets in September 2016 while the US buyers may have to wait a bit longer.
The interesting two-wheeler will sport changes in its design. It will also come with a new suspension that features a multilevel adjustment facility. The price of the new model will probably be slightly higher than the price of the current one, which is $7,800. With this new Montesa Cota 4RT260, Honda looks to provide a strong challenge to Yamaha MT.

The most visible change made by Honda in its new Montesa Cota is its color shade. The automaker has done away with the vibrant red shade and has painted this bike with its red-blue combo on a white base. This adds that all needed sports touch and makes the 4RT260 high on aesthetics.
Also, the suspension forks have a new chrome finish this time and come with a black bottleneck. The fuel tank is made of aluminum along with its other body parts. This makes the bike light and provides the smoother ride. The footrest has been widened along with some other minor design changes.

This bike will have a seat height of 25.6 inches while its ground clearance is set to a massive 13.2 inches. Wheelbase is retained at 52 inches ensuring the driver a steady ride. Decent bike width has been maintained along with a light-weight frame to maintain off-road stability and all-terrain performance. The 2017 Honda Montesa Cota 4RT260 stands at a curb weight of 163.7 pounds.
